Training

Most "problem
horses" aren't.

Most "problem horses" aren't problems. They have holes somebody skipped. We don't rush it and we don't skip steps.

There's no magic, no secret, no shortcut. There's just time and consistent work done right.

Bring us the horse.
We'll bring the time.

Your horse gets worked 5–6 days a week — riding, intensive groundwork, whatever that day requires. 30, 60, and 90-day programs at the same monthly rate.

We specialize in
  • Trailer loading
  • Ground manners
  • Explosive and spooky behavior
  • Colt starting
  • Desensitization — tarps, flags, ropes, cattle, whatever your horse has decided is the end of the world

The timeline is honest — some horses take longer than others, and we'll tell you that upfront rather than rush a horse that isn't ready. A solid foundation is what's included. Miracles aren't.

Part of the program

Owner education
is included.

Four lessons are built into the program at the right point in training, because a well-trained horse with an untrained owner undoes the work in about a week.

That's not a judgment — it's just how horses work. We'll get you and your horse speaking the same language before they head home, so the foundation actually holds.

Before you commit

Straight answers
first.

We'd rather tell you the truth early than take a check we shouldn't. Bring the horse out and we'll be honest about what we see.

Pre-purchase evaluation

Before you buy that horse, we'll tell you the truth about it — even if it kills the sale. Pick your level: Quick Look ($50, 1 hr, verbal rec) · Full Evaluation + Written Report ($150, half day, report in 24 hrs) · Ride Test + Video ($225 — Meg rides it on camera) · Vet-Day Support ($125 — we attend the vet PPE and translate; vet & farrier bill separately) · At the Seller's Barn ($150 + $1.25/mi). We're horse people, not veterinarians — what we add is the trainer's eye.

No trailer?
No problem.

Not everyone has a trailer — so we'll haul out to you. Have us look at a horse where it lives, run a lesson or training session on your property, or haul your horse to the farm and back.
