In exchange for training services at Gracewood Acres, the Owner agrees:
1. Fee & payment. Training is $1,500 per month, board included , due at the start of each training month. Veterinary and farrier services are billed through to the Owner at cost plus $10.
2. No guaranteed outcome. The Owner understands that horses are individuals and that no specific result, timeline, or "fix" is or can be guaranteed . Gracewood Acres will use reasonable professional judgment and consistent work.
3. Training methods. Gracewood Acres has discretion over training methods, equipment, and daily decisions in the horse's best interest and the safety of people and horses.
4. Health requirements. The Owner certifies the horse is current on vaccinations and has a negative Coggins within 12 months , and is sound enough for the requested work or has disclosed any limitations above.

6. Assumption of risk & release. Training young or troubled horses carries real risk to the horse. The Owner accepts the inherent risks and releases Gracewood Acres from liability for injury to, illness of, or death of the horse , except for gross negligence or willful misconduct. Gracewood Acres is not an insurer of the horse. The Owner agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Gracewood Acres for damage or injury caused by the horse.
