Walk the
barn. Meet
the horses.

The best way to figure out if Gracewood is the right fit is to come visit. We don't do tours by appointment only — but a heads-up gets you a coach who isn't in the middle of a ride.

Drop us a line below, send an email, or call the barn directly. We answer every message personally — typically inside 24 hours.

Where we are

Just east
of Limestone.

The barn sits in the rolling country east of Limestone, off I-81 — easy hauling from Knoxville, Asheville, and the Tri-Cities. We're looking for a bigger place nearby down the road, but this is home for now.

What to
bring.

Keep it simple. If you're auditing a lesson, just bring yourself. If you're riding, here's the rundown — and we have spares of nearly everything.

01

Helmet

ASTM/SEI-certified, ideally less than five years old. We have loaners in common sizes if you don't have one yet.

02

Boots

Smooth-soled with a small heel. Paddock boots ideal; clean hiking boots are fine for a first lesson.

03

Long pants

Breeches, riding tights, or close-fitting jeans without rivets on the inseam. Save the leather.

04

Water

For rider and visitor both. Tennessee summers mean business, even in the shade of the barn aisle.

Come find
the coach.

Coffee's usually on in the tack room. We'll be down by the arena or out in the pasture — give a wave and we'll come up.
